Our Venue

Although we occasionaly present performances at other locations, our subscription series has been held at St Johns Southgate for several years now.

St Johns Southgate

St Johns was chosen by musical director Frank Pam because of its excellent acoustics and intimate, relaxed atmosphere. The central location is also convenient for concertgoers from throughout Melbourne.
Getting There
St Johns Southgate is located at 20 City Road, Southbank:

By Public Transport: A few minutes walk (over the footbridge) from Flinders Street StationBy Car: Take the Power Street exit from the M1 freeway

Parking

Ample parking is available at Southgate Parking, Eureka Tower, or the Australian Ballet Centre

James Tatoulis Auditorium

The James Tatoulis Auditorium is located within the Music Department at Methodist Ladies’ College (MLC), 207 Barkers Road, Kew:

By Tram
Catch the Number 16 tram along Glenferrie Road. Get at the corner of Barkers Road (stop 77) and head east about 150 metres.

By Train
Take a train on the Lilydale, Belgrave or Alamein lines to Glenferrie Station. From there it’s a 1km walk (or tram ride – see above) north on Glenferrie Road to the corner of Barkers Road.

By Car: Enter from Barkers Road (approx 150m from the corner of Glenferrie Road).
There is parking on site.
